About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching sheltered general education students in the 4th grade at Allen Elementary School.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
  • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, special education teachers, and administrators to support student learning.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate or ability to obtain one within six months.
  • At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a sheltered general education setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
