About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching sheltered general education students in the 4th grade at Allen Elementary School.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Collaborate with other teachers, special education teachers, and administrators to support student learning.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate or ability to obtain one within six months.
- At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a sheltered general education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
