About the Role
Responsible for working with administrative and direct services in developing and implementing emergency shelter services, including crisis intervention, crisis counseling, intakes, assessments, orientations, and cooperative living agreements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency shelter services
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis counseling
- Conduct intakes, assessments, and orientations
- Manage cooperative living agreements
- Handle household management tasks
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent life experience
- Educational experience in human services or equivalent life experiences
- Strong household management capabilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts and extended hours as needed
- Ability to lift and push 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience with residential care settings
- Knowledge and/or experience in crisis intervention and/or crisis counseling
- Bilingual preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
