What You Can Earn

• Earn up to $37.79 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate, form, cut, and install sheetmetal for ventilation systems, structural components, and shipboard assemblies.
• Work from drawings, plans, templates, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assemble and install ductwork, bulkheads, hangers, foundations, and related systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, shears, brakes, punches, and forming equipment.
• Support ship construction across diverse shipyard environments and be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

What You Bring

• The ability to fabricate, install, repair, and assemble sheetmetal components.

Must Have

• Requires a minimum of one (1) year of sheetmetal experience or related craft experience in joiner, shipfitting, and/or carpentry.

Nice to Have

• Prefer candidates with the ability to set up and operate a variety of sheetmetal machines such as brakes and shears.
• Pass a skill assessment test.
• Ability to read marine blueprints and work from standard and metric specifications.
