ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS
- Enter job completion details accurately into our OMS visual system.
- Plan several jobs ahead to ensure job materials are ready.
- Examine job orders to determine quantities for printing, stock specifications, color or special printing instructions.
- Fill out all proper documentation relating to job requirements, such as load tags, orders, data analysis, coating documentations.
- Maintain specified operating levels in feeding and printing operations and detect malfunctions.
- Relay responsibilities to the feeder operator and communicate daily tasks.
- Clean up ink fountains during job change over process and perform line clearance protocols from previous job.
- Grease and lubricate press to manufacturing specs, and per the company’s planned maintenance program.
- Manage color on the printing press and quality procedures.
- Prepare the press for the next shift to have a running press at shift change.
