Sheeter/Cutter III - PKG

The Sheeter/Cutter III position at Marin's Uk Limited involves operating a precision cutter to cut paper rolls into specific sizes and quantities. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating the cutter, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders, and cross-training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Order confirmation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Set-up and effective operation of the precision cutter
• Follow pre-production, make-ready, and production-run tasks and instructions
• Cross-train as assigned

Requirements

• Previous sheeter (roll tender) experience preferred
• Ability to perform work-related functions requiring basic math and reading skills
• Familiarity with machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
• Computer proficiency and troubleshooting experience
• Understanding of the USA dating system and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long periods, and use hands and wrists continuously
• Good vision, including peripheral and depth perception, and ability to pass a color test
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when needed

Qualifications

• Basic English language skills
• Understanding of the USA dating system
• Lock Out/Tag Out knowledge

Skills

• Machine repair and maintenance experience preferred
• Raw material inventory management experience preferred

Benefits

At Quad, we offer a competitive starting wage, ranging from $17.50 to $19.50 per hour, or more for those with relevant experience. Shift premiums are also available for certain shifts.
