Sheet Metal Worker - Level 2

As a Sheet Metal Worker - Level 2 at Honeywell, you will fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment. This role involves working with a variety of materials and tools to create high-quality components that meet stringent standards. Your expertise will ensure the precision and efficiency of manufacturing processes, impacting overall production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and join sheet metal components.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to safety standards, making adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a sheet metal worker with at least 2 years in the trade.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders accurately.
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools, as well as machinery used in sheet metal work.
• Experience with welding and soldering sheet metal components is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in sheet metal work or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork fabrication, or industrial sheet metal applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
