Responsibilities
- Perform cutting, bending, stamping, and grinding of sheet metal components for energy storage containers according to process drawings
- Operate laser cutting machines, CNC press brakes, and shearing machines, ensuring machining accuracy
- Conduct first-article self-inspection and assist QC with in-process inspections
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to keep machinery and tooling in good condition
- Maintain 5S standards in the work area, keeping the site clean and organized
Requirements
- Vocational school or high school diploma or above; Mechanical Engineering major preferred
- 2+ years of sheet metal processing experience; experience in energy storage container, or metal, steel structure industry preferred
- Ability to read mechanical drawings; familiar with sheet metal unfolding calculations and processes
- Proficient in operating laser cutters, CNC press brakes, and other primary equipment
- Responsible and detail-oriented with basic quality awareness and safety mindset
