About the Role
As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, Pursuit is looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, can solve problems, and can maintain blueprint requirements. Day-to-day activities consist of correcting distortion in parts from various sources, assembling via riveting, Deutch nuts, nut-plates, and broaching. Working with hydraulic press and press brakes are common occurrences.

Responsibilities
- Deburr metal details using hand tools to remove burr from machining
- Countersink and ream holes with hand tools
- Advanced assembly of parts using rivets and nut plates
- Advanced correcting flatness, fit, form, and function on parts
- Advanced bending, blanking, forming using a hydraulic press to manipulate the metal
- Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment and quick-check gaging
- Use Kaizen to flow parts and drive down costs
- Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time according to company policy
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 2+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Working Conditions

- Must be able to frequently stand and walk

Schedule
Full-time role, 3 PM – 12 AM, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.
