Sheet Metal Installer

About the role

Sobieski New Homes of Newark, DE is seeking a full-time Residential New Construction Sheet Metal Installer.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC duct systems and related components in residential new construction homes
• Work closely with foremen, superintendents, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards
• Read plans and work in various stages of single-family homes, town homes, and other residential new construction projects
• Help train Sheet Metal helpers and apprentices

Requirements

• Licensed as a journeyman (preferred)
• 3+ years of new home construction experience
• Knowledge of applicable state codes
• Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable driving record
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outside in a variety of weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces
• Own hand tools regularly used by Sheet Metal Installers
