About the role
We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator who combines mechanical grit with an artist’s attention to detail. If you want to work in a shop where "Ownership" and "Humanity" are core values, and where your craftsmanship directly impacts the quality of our finished product, we want to talk to you.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
Pay
Hourly rate includes a $2.00/hr shift differential.
Responsibilities
- Own the Setup: Select the right tooling, set up the Accurpress (or similar) machinery, and dial in the settings for the perfect bend.
- Fabricate with Precision: Interpret complex blueprints and work orders to produce parts that meet tight tolerances.
- Quality Control: Use calipers, micrometers, and protractors to verify your own work—because you refuse to pass along a bad part.
- Maintain Your Machine: Keep your equipment running smoothly with routine maintenance and care.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environment (setting up and running the brake press equipment).
- Technical proficiency with Accurpress (or equivalent manual press brake) and blueprint reading.
- Understanding of metal forming principles and attention to detail—knowing that a fraction of a degree makes all the difference.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to help train the next generation of operators.
- Reliability: punctual, hardworking, and aligned with the company’s goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Accurpress control systems.
- Forklift certification.
- Vocational training in metal fabrication.
