Responsibilities
- Verifies operations as specified in the traveler related to the operation being performed (e.g., proper material, thickness, process).
- Understands layout and plans sequence of operations.
- Sets up equipment controls, timers, machinery, and dies.
- Operates machine and machine controls.
- Makes necessary adjustments to ensure consistent part quality, refining parts for cosmetic or customer-specified reasons.
- Uses precision measuring tools in set-ups and quality assurance, using necessary inspection media to ensure consistent quality.
- Understands customer specifications as they relate to the operation being performed.
- Willing and able to work overtime as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 to 12 months’ manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude required.
- Basic math skills required (decimals, percentages, fractions); geometry and trigonometry preferred.
- Computer skills – able to learn new screens, reports, functions, software programs, and internal ERP systems.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $18.25 - $19.50/hour
