Sheet Metal Apprentice

About the role

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is interested in building a long-term career in the HVAC and sheet metal trade. Whether you have some construction experience or are just starting out, we're ready to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal for HVAC systems
• Support installation of ductwork and related components
• Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sites
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
• Learn and apply industry techniques and best practices

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
• Strong interest in learning the sheet metal/HVAC trade
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical job duties (including working in crawlspaces, attics, and on ladders)
• Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding
• Prior experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus, but not required

Qualifications

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Skills

None specifically listed, but strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are important.

Pay

$17 - $25 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (occasional evenings and weekends as needed)
