About the role
Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems in commercial buildings. Works closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with building codes and sustainability standards.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for new construction projects
- Oversee installation of mechanical equipment and systems
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on existing systems
- Provide technical support to clients and project teams
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Experience with energy-efficient systems and sustainable design
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
