Sheep Marketing Intern

About the role

The Sheep Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the sheep industry.

Responsibilities

• Contact sellers within the sheep and livestock industries and educate them on our products and services.
• Enter their own information and their listings for them.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and email communications.
• Gather information on shows and meetings in the industry.
• Research the sheep and livestock industries and the proper way to list the information on our site.
• Provide feedback from the industry.
• Build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve.
• Achieve a heavy focus on customer service and sales.
• Assist in the implementation of various tasks.

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in the sheep industry.
• Ability to commute to the local office when scheduled.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment.
• Results-oriented.
• Flexible and open to change.
• A stable and progressive work history.
• A professional appearance and demeanor.
