Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensures waste types are properly segregated, regulatory shipment windows are met, proper container labeling is adhered to, good housekeeping is maintained, and accurate tracking logs are kept
- Travel between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various Sharps and Pharmaceutical Management Systems
- Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded
- Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule
- Communicates duty status on a defined scheduled
- Maintains compliance with applicable environmental, safety and transportation regulations (EPA, OSHA, and DOT)
- Immediately reports any unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries or property damage to supervisor
- Performs labor intensive activities such as walking long distances while pushing/pulling service carts
- Performs other related duties as required or requested
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED (accredited)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to Maintain required mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
Work Conditions
- Physical Demands: Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity most of the workday
- Physical Effort: Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 50 pounds most of the workday
- Environment & Physical Effort Required: Requires long periods of walking while pushing/pulling a service cart
- Other Duties: Performs labor intensive activities such as walking long distances while pushing/pulling service carts
Additional Information
Expected Hours of Work: Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule Additional hours as job duties demand
Travel - Other: Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)
Must have a current, valid driver's license
Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy
