SharePoint Online & Power Automate Consultant (h/f)
About the role
Drive a full collaboration platform revamp for a global clinical operations function with an international team. This SharePoint Online and Power Automate consultancy role supports a global clinical development business office coordinating a structured review committee with multiple stakeholder tiers, strict compliance requirements, and recurring operational workflows. Redesign the outdated, manual SharePoint setup with a new homepage, navigation architecture, structured document repositories, metadata configuration, and automated Power Automate workflows to replace manual processes for meeting scheduling, approvals, folder creation, and notifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead kick-off workshops to review existing assets, governance principles, and validate the technical approach
- Design SharePoint homepage, navigation architecture, and information structure
- Configure document repositories and metadata frameworks aligned to governance requirements
- Build Power Automate workflows covering meeting submission and approval, slot assignment, folder creation, participant notifications, and periodic sync checks
- Configure Outlook and SharePoint connectors within the client's Microsoft 365 environment
- Deliver structured administrator training
- Run a final validation workshop to demonstrate delivered workflows and hand over administration
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with SharePoint Online architecture, including homepage design, navigation, and document repository structuring
- Strong metadata configuration and information architecture experience
- Solid Power Automate experience building approval, notification, and folder-management workflows
- Experience configuring governance and tiered permission structures (administrator, contributor, viewer)
- Experience configuring SharePoint and Outlook connectors
- Track record running discovery and alignment workshops with business stakeholders
- Experience delivering structured administrator training and producing supporting documentation
- Comfortable working within a complex, multi-stakeholder, compliance-driven organisation
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated or clinical/pharma environment
- Familiarity with document retention and records management policies
- Experience migrating from legacy or on-premise SharePoint to SharePoint Online
