Thunder Ridge, a division of All Native Group, is seeking a temporary SharePoint Developer to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)).

About the role

This position will apply current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint server portals. Serve as the primary SharePoint content editor for bureau functions. Use SharePoint tools with minimal custom code, ensuring consistency and relevancy of all displayed content, and meeting required organizational standards. Custom code must be well documented with in-line comments.

Responsibilities

  • Full stack development with experience working on both the front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) aspects of web applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web development applications, Visual Studio, HTML coding skills/programming languages (jQuery, JavaScript), and Internet Information Service (IIS).
  • Create and edit Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project files as well as leveraging tools such as SharePoint, MilSuite, and All Partners Access Network (APAN) to share and manage information.
  • Develop databases using SharePoint, SQL, and other relevant methods for business processes including proposals, contracting, and agreements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of API (Application Programming Interface).
  • Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities, and provide daily onsite maintenance of existing MOSS portals.
  • Work with users to develop rapid, simple solutions to complex problems on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of applicable SharePoint operations.
  • Assist user base with establishing SharePoint requirements for their business processes.
  • Provide site architecture analysis and determine structure for various SharePoint sites.
  • Coordinate and maintain digital and/or hard copy files/folders and SharePoint content for the bureau, maintaining ARIMS compliance.
  • Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions for business needs.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions external to SharePoint.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Work with projects on a daily and highly interactive basis using Agile Methodology and SDLC development experience.
  • Provide training as necessary for SharePoint site users.

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Discretion and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work indoors 90% of the time.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Schedule

This is a full-time temporary position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required as needed by business need.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
