About the role
The SharePoint Developer position at SMX is an onsite role based in Huntsville, AL. This role involves configuring and managing SharePoint services and applications, administering user access, and working closely with various teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer SharePoint related databases
- Support the Site Content Administration with structure, permissions, and automation
- Perform daily system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of all systems and key processes, including upgrades/migrations to new SharePoint environments
- Create and maintain new SharePoint sites, pages, templates, dashboards, etc., from inception to maintenance
- Develop workflows and processes to improve overall functionality of the Project Office
- Recommend and implement enhancements and improvements to current SharePoint sites, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop, document, and maintain configuration management and change management processes
- Communicate effectively across all layers of the business and with teams with varied viewpoints
Requirements
- Cleared to Secret level
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience
- DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification (Security+) or higher
- SharePoint Online experience designing, architecting, implementing, installing, administering, troubleshooting, upgrading and supporting enterprise-class SharePoint in a DoD environment
- SharePoint migration experience
- Previous experience developing SharePoint sites and workflows
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot SharePoint technical issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Experience with and ability to perform the following job functions: Maintaining SharePoint related databases, Supporting Site Content Administration with structure, permissions, and automation, Performing daily system monitoring, ensuring the integrity and availability of all systems and key processes, Developing workflows and processes to improve overall functionality of the Project Office

- Must live within 75 miles of Redstone Arsenal
Skills
- Hands-on experience with application development using Web Services, API, Workflows (SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio)
- .NET, C#, and SQL experience
Pay
The proposed salary range for this position is: $65,000 USD - $80,000 USD
