What You'll Do
- Training Development & Delivery
- Carry out needs assessments for site owners and general SharePoint users to identify training needs, skill gaps, and adoption challenges.
- Develop and execute training strategies, plans, and learning roadmaps/paths that support organizational objectives.
- Create SPO/O365 training materials such as job aids, knowledge base articles (KBAs), quick-reference guides, SOPs, facilitator guides, presentations, FAQs, and recorded demonstrations.
- Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and desk-side training sessions for end users, site owners, and leadership stakeholders.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continually improve content based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Support onboarding and enablement efforts for new users and stakeholder groups.
- Support (or assist) in migration to SharePoint Online efforts.
- User Adoption & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and implement adoption strategies that encourage sustained use of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand organizational needs and barriers to adoption.
- Identify adoption risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support communication planning, stakeholder engagement activities, and change readiness efforts.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and working sessions to align stakeholders and drive decisions.
- Support user questions related to SPO content organization, migration, site management, and collaboration approaches.
- Business Process Improvement
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, collaboration, and user experience.
- Develop recommendations for process improvements that align with mission objectives.
- Partner with project teams to support implementation and adoption of improved business processes.
- Document workflows, procedures, and operational recommendations.
- The projected annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $131,000.
- Actual compensation and starting salaries are determined by various factors, including the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, clearance level, and internal equity.

- Active Top Secret clearance (or active within the past two years).
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of consulting, training, business analysis, user adoption, stakeholder engagement, or related experience.
- Experience designing and delivering training programs for enterprise technology solutions.
- Understanding of permissions, rules, flows, and integration with M365 applications for configuration of SharePoint sites in an enterprise network environment.
- Experience in SharePoint Online Migration efforts.
- Experience conducting business process analysis and improvement efforts.
- Experience supporting federal government or defense clients.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and client engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing communication.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-stakes client environments.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizations.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements to include the Americans with Disabilities Act (Section 508 Compliance) and Safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
- Able to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with UI/UX, Experience within DoD365 environments, Human-Centered Design experience, Prosci, ATD, or related training/change management certifications.
- Attend meetings in and out of the office, travel (sometimes extensively).
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Communicate effectively (both orally and in writing).
- Ability to effectively use computers and other electronic and standard office equipment.
- Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Work is primarily sedentary and involves sitting for several hours at a time.
- Occasionally walking, climbing stairs, and standing occur in this role.
- Additionally, this job requires certain mental demands, including the ability to exercise judgment, withstand moderate stress, and maintain attention to detail.
- This role serves as the lead for training, user adoption, stakeholder engagement, and business process improvement initiatives that help clients successfully implement and sustain organizational and technology solutions.
- The ideal candidate is a strong consultant, facilitator, and communicator who can engage stakeholders, analyze business processes, develop and deliver effective training programs, and drive adoption of new tools and ways of working.
- The role focuses on helping people and organizations realize value from technology solutions, particularly within SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft 365 (O365) environments.
- The consultant will work closely with technical subject-matter experts, project leaders, and client stakeholders to support organizational change, improve business outcomes, and ensure the successful adoption of collaboration and information-management tools.
- Must have a Top Secret security clearance (or one that’s been active within the past two years).
