Job Description SharePoint Architect – Microsoft 365 & Power Platform Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview Seeking a seasoned SharePoint Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform to lead digital workplace transformation initiatives across client engagements. The Architect will design scalable, secure, and governance-driven SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions, enabling collaboration, automation, and business process optimization in enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & DesignArchitect enterprise-grade SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions.Design modern intranet portals, document management systems, and collaboration frameworks.Define information architecture, taxonomy, metadata strategy, and governance models.Create HLDs, LLDs, solution blueprints, and architecture diagrams.Ensure scalability, performance, and security alignment with client standards. Power Platform ExpertiseArchitect solutions using:Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)Power AutomatePower BIPower Virtual Agents / Copilot StudioDesign workflow automation and approval frameworks.Develop enterprise-grade business applications using Dataverse.Define reusable components, connectors, and integration patterns.Ensure environment strategy, ALM, and governance for Power Platform. Integration & Modern Workplace EnablementIntegrate SharePoint with:Microsoft TeamsOneDriveExchange OnlineAzure ADThird-party systems via APIsDesign hybrid and migration strategies (on-prem to SharePoint Online).Implement enterprise search, content lifecycle management, and compliance controls.Drive adoption strategies and modern workplace transformation initiatives. Governance, Security & ComplianceDefine tenant-level governance and site provisioning frameworks.Implement security models using Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc. based on client domain).Architect retention policies, DLP policies, and auditing strategies. Client Engagement & Delivery LeadershipLead client workshops, discovery sessions, and roadmap discussions.Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, and estimations.Provide technical leadership to onshore/offshore teams.Review solution design and ensure adherence to best practices.Identify technical risks and drive mitigation plans. AI-Enabled Modern WorkplaceLeverage Microsoft Copilot and AI features within Microsoft 365 to enhance productivity.Identify automation opportunities using AI-powered workflows.Evaluate intelligent document processing and analytics use cases.Promote responsible AI adoption aligned with enterprise governance.
