About the role

Join an established firm as their newest Lateral Shareholder. The ideal candidate will have an established reputation in the Portland legal community and a portable book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Rely heavily on your practice that is complementary to this firm’s real estate practice.
  • Work primarily in-office, with some hybrid flexibility.
  • Manage a reasonable billable requirement.
  • Compensation increases based on collections, business development bonuses, and equity.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience required.
  • Background in Trusts & Estates, General/Commercial Real Estate, General Business Law, Real Property, Real Estate, and/or Bankruptcy preferred.
  • Oregon State Bar membership.

Qualifications

  • Established reputation in the Portland legal community.
  • A portable book of business.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent client service orientation.
  • Experience in corporate formation and governance, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, collections and foreclosures, financial services, loan documentation, real estate transactions, and complex commercial litigation.

Pay

$225K-$300K base DOE plus bonus and profit sharing potential.
