About the role
Venture is seeking compassionate and committed shared living providers in Central Massachusetts to share their home and life with a person with a disability. The provider helps the person with their daily activities, assists with health and wellness, promotes and models a safe and meaningful lifestyle, and encourages participation in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide complete and total care for the individual supported
- Transport to community activities and all appointments
- Complete monthly documentation
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administer medication
- Assist with money management
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Have an available bedroom to be individualized as the person desires
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Own a reliable and insured vehicle
- Pass background and fingerprinting check
- Pass home qualification process
- Prior experience in human services is helpful but not necessary
