Shared Living Caregiver Bilingual (Boston & Surrounding Area)

About the role

We are currently searching for a bilingual couple or individual to provide a wonderful shared living home for a woman in her 70s in the Boston area. She likes cooking Spanish food, people watching, TV (loves game shows), and staying socially active. She is looking for a person or people that share similar interests and will help her feel like she is an inclusive member of the household.

Responsibilities

• Support her daily living needs with dignity and respect.
• Assist her with skill development, budgeting, and managing her monthly funds.
• Navigate emergent safety situations and support scheduling activities to ensure a balanced, fulfilling life.
• Provide assistance with planning and sharing meals, coordinating appointments and social activities.

Requirements

• Able to provide a warm, inclusive home environment.
• Valid driver's license and own a car.
• First Aid and CPR training.
• Pass a CORI and meet DDS criteria.

Qualifications

• Must have an extra bedroom in their home to accommodate mobility needs.

Skills

• Bilingual in Spanish.

Pay

Range = $27,618 to $96,677 annually*

*Range above represents difficulty of care payments paid to a caregiver for providing personal care services to an eligible person residing either in the caregiver’s home or in the person’s own home. Stipend rates are contingent upon assessed needs of the person and subject to state approval. Stipend levels 18 through 21 are available only by special application to the purchasing governmental unit. Schedule

The schedule will be flexible to accommodate the individual's needs and the caregiver's availability.
