About the role

The Shared Drive Engineer is responsible for managing and securing shared drives within the organization. This role requires a strong background in IT security and experience with enterprise-level systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and secure shared drives using advanced security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security policies and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on proper drive management practices.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on shared drive management.
• Experience with enterprise-level storage solutions and security tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing and securing sensitive data.
• Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with network security tools such as FireEye, McAfee, or Symantec.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$155,671 per year

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
