About the Role

As our Shampoo/Cleaner, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment. This role supports day-to-day operations, ensures service standards are consistently delivered, and acts as a bridge between leadership and frontline teams—driving accountability, engagement, and results.

Your Impact

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and prepare carpets before cleaning.
• Operate carpet shampooing, extraction, and other cleaning equipment.
• Apply appropriate cleaning solutions and stain treatments.
• Clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and other assigned surfaces.
• Move light furniture or equipment as needed to access cleaning areas.
• Place warning signs around wet or recently cleaned areas.
• Inspect cleaned areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
• Clean, maintain, and properly store shampooing equipment and supplies.
• Report damaged carpets, equipment problems, or difficult-to-remove stains to a supervisor.
• Follow all housekeeping, safety, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Assist other housekeeping staff with general cleaning duties when needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a housekeeping team.
• Previous housekeeping or carpet-cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay

Hourly rate: $21.09
