SHAMPOO ASSISTANT IN A BUSY SALON

About the role

Andreas Hogue Salon is seeking shampoo assistants for our busy salon. We are a high-end, multi-award winning salon with 2.5 locations in Northbrook, IL and Vernon Hills, IL. Named Salon of the Year by Salon Today/Modern Salon in 2020 and "Best of Chicago" for the past 8 years consecutively, we are looking for hardworking professionals passionate about the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with shampoo and styling services
• Prepare and maintain salon equipment and supplies
• Handle customer inquiries and assist with scheduling appointments
• Participate in salon events and promotions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a salon setting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic hair care techniques and products
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
