About the Role

As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care and support to individuals and groups in a residential mental health setting.

Requirements

• High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting.
• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings.

Pay

Expected starting wage range is $23.00 - $23.71 per hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges based on the location where the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Shift differentials for hourly staff: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for NOC Shift.

Weekend shift differentials for hourly staff: 5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend NOC Shift.

Schedule

Short-Hour NOC Shifts: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Days: Friday - Saturday.

About the Program

Contra Costa Hope House serves adults aged 18-59 experiencing an acute mental health emergency. Adults aged 59 and older are admitted on a case-by-case basis. The average length of stay is 7-10 days.
