This position supports special education programs within the district.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students with special needs
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support classroom teachers in delivering modified curriculum
• Monitor student progress and document observations
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Colorado paraprofessional certification or ability to obtain
• Experience working with students with disabilities

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Patience and flexibility in working with diverse student needs
• Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes

Pay

• Grade ESP07 salary schedule

Schedule

• 7 hours per day
• 177 days per year
• Tentative start date: August 31, 2026
