About the role

Responsible for providing educational services to students with special needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to student performance and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Colorado teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months.
• Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in using special education software and tools.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
