About the role
Responsible for providing educational support services to students with special needs in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic areas.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and IEPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid Colorado teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months.
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
$60,000 - $65,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with some evening and weekend work required.
