About the role

Provide exceptional behavior treatment services for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) using an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based therapy. Work 21 with patients and families to reach individualized goals supervised by a BCBA. Teach clients with autism communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting. Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we support. Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals. Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by the BlueSprig clinical team.

  • Experience working in crisis situations including severe aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience working in crisis situations including severe aggression, self-injurious behavior, and property destruction.
  • Passionate about behavioral health.
  • Natural passion to serve others.
  • May have studied psychology or education.
  • Recent graduate, CNA, or similar experience working with people with special needs.
  • Natural ability to work with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs).

Pay

$24.50 to $26.00 per hour (based on experience) for billable hours as an RBT. Once you have completed Behavior Technician (BT) training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive $21.50 for each billable client hour worked. For all BT training and administrative time, you will receive $16.00 for each non-billable hour worked.

Schedule

All day availability Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
