About the role

As a Settlement‑Escrow Closer you will perform the duties associated with closing and settlement transactions for title insurance.

Responsibilities

• Communicate via phone and email with all parties involved in closing transactions, including borrowers, sellers, lenders, and real‑estate agents.
• Prepare and determine the escrow requirements for each transaction.
• Prepare necessary closing documentation to complete the sales transaction.
• Clear all title requirements needed for transfer of title.
• Deposit and disburse the funds from closings.
• Handle construction disbursements.
• Promote business development by attending civic and Chamber events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Title Insurance License and continuing education, or ability to obtain licensing.
• Three years of Title Insurance experience preferred.
