Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support production objectives by: Performing set-up related duties
    • Train high level skills
    • Troubleshoot production problems relating to equipment, tooling, and processes
    • Support company philosophies, systems, and policies through actions and words
    • Setup equipment to standard work
    • Facilitate Shift Start up and departmental meetings
    • Train and educate operators
    • Absorb and assist in the assessment, implementation, and documentation of associate and departmental development plans and competency progress plans
    • Perform, train and assist in preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling
    • Accurately complete records and forms
    • Accurately complete records in maintenance management system
    • Knowledge about the products, processes and equipment
    • Self-motivated and able to learn at a fast pace
    • Demonstrates proficient machining, communication, and troubleshooting
    • Identifies and corrects machining problems relative to tools and tool holders, collets and chucks
    • Ability to identify and rectify minor mechanical equipment malfunctions
    • Uses change management system

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift Kegs and Boxes on a regular basis between 25 - 35 pounds and occasionally between 35 - 50 pounds. Considerable standing, stooping and bending is required. May be required to pass pre-employment and annual Vision Acuity test
