Set-up Operator I - Cheraw 1 - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up operating machines including first checks and test sequences
• Oversee ramp-up of machines after setup procedures and support operators
• Support maintenance in repair, downtime prevention, and machine inspections
• Follow documented procedures and maintain accurate records and tracking
• Check finished product/product components and submit for approval
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Required:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Ability to operate basic machinery
  • Good visual acuity
  • Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
  • Authorization to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• Preferred:
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with power tools
