PSY210H1F (LEC5101) – Introduction to Developmental Psychology. The developmental approach to the study of behaviour with reference to sensorimotor skills, cognition, socialization, personality, and emotional behaviour.

Salary

  • Sessional Lecturer I: $9,997.48
  • Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term: $10,699.22
  • Sessional Lecturer II: $10,699.22
  • Sessional Lecturer II, Long Term: $10,953.96
  • Sessional Lecturer III: $10,953.96
  • Sessional Lecturer III, Long Term: $11,228.90

Should rates stipulated in the Collective Agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates in the Collective Agreement shall prevail.

Minimum qualifications

  • Completion of PhD studies in the area of Developmental Psychology
  • Past experience and demonstrated excellence TAing and/or teaching developmental psychology courses

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in teaching developmental psychology courses at the University of Toronto’s St. George Campus
  • Experience in teaching large, introductory developmental psychology courses

Responsibilities

  • Lecturing
  • Counselling students
  • Setting final exam
  • Invigilating and reporting final marks
  • Supervising course TAs
