About the role

The position involves co-instructing a professional graduate course using competency-based learning and assessment methods. The successful candidate must be available evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Co-teach a professional graduate course using competency-based learning and assessment methods.
  • Be accessible to students outside of classroom hours.
  • Available evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in data analytics and quantitative methods to inform health care decision making.
  • A robust understanding of quantitative methods and applications in health services research, management, and policy.
  • Past teaching experience related to quantitative methods.
  • Prior experience in curriculum development and adult teaching-learning methods.
  • Experience working in more applied settings, such as as a preceptor.
  • Comfortable with electronic teaching tools such as Learning Management Systems (e.g., Quercus), PowerPoint, and online collaboration tools (Blogs, Wikis, Discussion Boards, Webinars, or Video-conferencing).

Skills

  • Ability to teach using competency-based learning and assessment methods.
  • Experience in data analytics and quantitative methods.
  • Understanding of quantitative methods and applications in health services research, management, and policy.
  • Teaching experience related to quantitative methods.
  • Experience in curriculum development and adult teaching-learning methods.
  • Experience working in applied settings.
  • Proficiency with electronic teaching tools.

Benefits

Salary range: $9,997.47 - Sessional Lecturer I, $10,699.21 - Sessional Lecturer I - Long Term, $10,699.21 - Sessional Lecturer II, $10,953.96 - Sessional Lecturer II - Long Term, $10,953.96 - Sessional Lecturer III, $11,228.90 - Sessional Lecturer III - Long Term.

Modular sessions from September 24 and December 17, 2026. Delivery mode: In-person and Online. Synchronous.
