About the role
Faun is seeking motivated and engaged Service Technicians/Werkstattmitarbeiter - Fahrzeugelektrik / Kfz-Meister / Kfz-Mechatroniker / Elektroniker (m/w/d) to strengthen our Customer Centers at various locations including Augsburg, Bad Oldesloe, Berlin, Ebelsbach, Gerlingen, Hemmingen, Herne, Mainz, and the Passau/Deggendorf region. The role involves performing maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles (hydrogen utility vehicles, waste collection vehicles, or scrubbers) at the Customer Center or in the field, assisting with error analysis, and coordinating tests and trials at the vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles
- Assisting with error analysis during customer vehicle tours
- Coordinating and conducting tests and trials at the vehicle
- Acting as a liaison between customers and technical support in the workshop
- Supporting the workshop leadership in detailed offer preparation
- Analyzing, documenting, and resolving issues such as hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
- Performing metalwork tasks like cutting, welding, shearing, brazing
- Using diagnostic tools and measuring equipment for diagnosis
- Working with metal, pneumatics, water, electronics, electricity, high voltage, and hydrogen
- Advising customers on replacement part orders and vehicle operation and maintenance
- Creating reports and documentation using modern digital devices
Requirements
- A completed technical vocational training, such as Kfz-Mechatroniker, Kfz-Elektriker, Elektroniker, Elektroanlageninstallateur, Elektroanlagenmonteur, Nutzfahrzeugmechatroniker, Land- und Baumaschinenmechatroniker, Landmaschinenmechaniker, Industriemechaniker, Industrieelektriker, etc.
- Experience in automotive technology or special vehicle manufacturing is advantageous
- Experience or training in high voltage areas is desirable (FAUN certification possible)
- Driver's license classes C and CEF preferred
- Enthusiasm for direct customer contact, motivation, and reliability are essential

Pay and Schedule
The position offers a competitive salary and flexible working hours with up to 75% travel time within a 200 km radius. Accommodation and a modern service vehicle (mostly electric) equipped with assistance systems and other good amenities will be provided.
