We supply high-quality industrial systems for drying, smoking, cooking, cooling, maturing, and thawing meat, sausage, fish, pet food, cheese, and bread. Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair, and servicing of thermal process systems (mechanical and electrical)
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical controls, sensors, burner controls, switchgear, and HMI systems
- PLC diagnostics and basic programming (Siemens TIA Portal / STEP 7), including process parameter adjustments
- Inspection and repair of heat exchangers, gas-fired burners, and smoke generators to ensure optimal system performance
- Rapid and efficient on-site service calls to minimize production downtime
- Scheduled service and safety inspections to comply with food and quality standards
- Preparation of service reports and training of customer personnel in operation, cleaning (CIP), and basic troubleshooting
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics, electronics) with advanced qualifications such as a master craftsman or technician, or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, system installation, or technical troubleshooting—preferably in the meat processing industry
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards (NFPA 70 / NEC) and experience with Siemens programming
- OSHA certification or solid understanding of applicable safety regulations is advantageous
- Ability to read and implement technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and parts lists
- High travel readiness and excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Independent, structured work approach with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of pneumatics and/or welding is a plus
