Services Lead Estimator

About the role

As the Services Lead Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing cost estimates on proposals, projects, and studies. Your role includes ensuring that the content of the estimate is complete, accurate, and meets the requirements of the estimate or project plan. You will also direct, train, and develop subordinates, help maintain the Company estimating database, and coordinate and review variable estimating factors.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimates on proposals, projects and studies
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of estimates
• Directs, trains, and develops subordinates
• Maintains the Company estimating database
• Covers project assignments, schedules, and manpower budgets
• Assists in independent assessment of estimate accuracy
• Develops and maintains formal training programs
• Identifies and assesses improvement opportunities
• Supports continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
• 8 to 20 years of relevant experience, including some estimating experience
• Field and/or project experience
