Services Experienced Professional - Commissioning
Job Summary
The Services Experienced Professional – Commissioning role at Baker Hughes involves performing installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada hardware and software products and solutions at customer locations. This role ensures that systems are deployed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
Responsibilities
- Performing installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada hardware and software products and solutions at customer locations.
- Ensuring service execution aligns with customer schedules, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Serving as a technical resource, providing documentation accuracy, and fostering strong customer engagement.
- Supporting Site Leads in project execution and maintaining accurate installation and commissioning documentation.
- Identifying and resolving issues proactively to ensure project and service success.
- Completing service reports, invoicing packages, and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Driving customer satisfaction through quality execution and supporting business growth initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Engineering Technology.
- Experience using hand tools and working with machinery in a production or industrial environment.
- Strong technical and customer service skills with direct client interaction experience.
- Basic hands-on experience with networking components (routers, Ethernet cables, switches, etc.).
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including short-notice assignments during peak seasons.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with solid problem-solving skills.
