About The Role

We are seeking a Services Data Lead to develop new mental health services for our platform over a six-month period. Our current schema and curation pipeline are robust but need enhancement as we expand the range of services listed. Your responsibilities include:

• Steward and evolve the services data schema and taxonomy.
• Own and improve the curation pipeline, including sourcing, screening, and tagging.
• Direct a small team of data specialists to ensure high-quality output.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and service partners to enhance the platform's offerings.
• Advise on internal tooling and document best practices for future reference.

This role offers a short paid work sample and requires a short-term commitment of 32 hours per week. The position is fully remote within the US, with documentation and a playbook as key deliverables. The hourly rate for this role is between $75 and $100, depending on experience, skills, and other relevant factors.

What You'll Do

You will:

• Steward and evolve the services data schema and taxonomy.
• Own and iterate the curation pipeline, improving its efficiency and automation.
• Direct a small team of data specialists to maintain high-quality data.
• Work across product, engineering, and external partners to refine candidacy review processes and data presentation.
• Advise on internal tooling and document best practices for future use.

Must-Haves

• A strong understanding of healthcare services data, particularly mental health.
• Experience in data-schema and data-modeling, with a keen eye for what to add and remove.
• Fluency in Postgres/SQL and experience managing data operations with a human-in-the-loop component.
• Experience owning KPIs for data accuracy and freshness.
• Comfortable working across different departments and collaborating with external partners.
• Experience with AI-assisted curation workflows, HL7, FHIR, or other health-data interoperability standards.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience building or maintaining a services dataset or provider directory.

Engagement & Compensation

The engagement term is six months with defined scope and deliverables. Extension or conversion is possible but not guaranteed. The hourly rate for this role is between $75 and $100, depending on experience, skills, and other relevant considerations.
