Servicer, Peeler

About the role

Involvement in day-to-day operation of the automotive fabrication process. While individuals will be assigned primarily to servicer duties, they are in no way limited to that area. Cross training on other equipment will be required in this position so they have a clear understanding of what their team will face daily.

Responsibilities

• Minimize machine downtime through proper loading/unloading techniques.
• Knowledge of CMS in areas of properly reporting production and scrap.
• Utilize proper handling techniques to minimize product damage.
• Attend all safety training and meetings.
• Maximize use of foam to obtain optimum yield.
• Notify supervisor or manager of any safety or quality issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Visually inspect chops for quality issues/physical damage prior to processing.
• Rolling buns and staging them as required.
• Keep the area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles, as they are appropriate.
• Cross train in other positions as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic machine operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform physical labor and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Skills

• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
