Servicer C

About the role

The Servicer C cleans the interior and exterior of buses under direction. Duties include vacuuming buses and cars, removing gum and debris from floors, cleaning seats with an upholstery machine, cleaning restrooms, mopping floors, cleaning the maintenance building, pulling cash boxes, assisting in seat repair, and reporting to work as scheduled.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or the equivalent (GED)
• Two (2) years' experience servicing buses
• Valid Class “C” California Driver’s License
• Ability to operate a forklift

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic methods, materials, and tools used in bus cleaning
• Adherence to safety procedures
• Ability to use tools and equipment of the trade
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work cooperatively with those contacted in the course and scope of work
• Ability to perform simple, basic, non-mechanical bus repairs
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written safety regulations and practices
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work variable hours including, but not limited to, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position

Skills

• Manual dexterity-based duties
• Use of cleaning tools and supplies
