A position at Xcel Energy could be just what you’re looking for. There is an anticipated need for an Apprenticeship Program in the Gas Utilization Section for one or more Apprentice(s) at the White Bear Lake Service Center in White Bear Lake, MN.

Job Requirements

• Have a valid driver's license and keep the license while in the Apprenticeship Program and going forth.
• Able to read and interpret distribution maps and design drawings.
• Have a good understanding of Pressure Regulation and Metering.
• Able to perform pipe fitting.
• This position is subject to the D.O.T. RSPA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
• Be able to become Operator Qualified through the Apprenticeship Program.
• Be organized and task oriented.
• Have teamwork, customer relations, and communication skills.
• Have the ability to function independently under stress while responding to all types of Gas Emergencies involving Company facilities and public safety.
• Be willing to learn and use all computer applications.

Pay

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $35.31 per hour.
