About the Role
This position is posted at 3 levels based on experience: Associate Level, Mid-level, Senior level. Candidates will be aligned to the appropriate level based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Works with key clients to understand project requirements and communicate implementation methodology.
- Consults with senior team members to ensure that system functionality meets clinical and business requirements of Integration and UPHS organization.
- Follows established documentation and project status procedures.
- Affords assistance in the monitoring of projects and maintains open communication with manager.
- Develops new Interfaces according to specification.
- Follows established documentation and change control procedures related to user requests, system design and development, modifications, testing, and on-going production support.
- Provides on-call and production support as necessary.
- Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.
Requirements
- H.S Diploma and 1+ years of experience in Information Technology setting (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree and Healthcare IT experience (Preferred)
Qualifications
- H.S Diploma and 5+ years IT experience (Required)
- Healthcare IT experience (Preferred)
- Or Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years IT experience (Required)
- 0-1 years healthcare IT experience (Preferred)
Senior Qualifications
- H.S Diploma and 7+ years IT experience (Required)
- 5+ Healthcare IT experience (Required)
- Or Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years IT experience (Required)
- 0-1 years healthcare IT experience (Preferred)
