Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Build workflows, integrations, applications, and AI-enabled capabilities while supporting platform architecture, security, automation, data integrity, and effective digital service delivery throughout the university.
• Configure, develop, test, deploy, and support ServiceNow platform solutions that deliver digital services, workflow automation, knowledge management, service request fulfillment, and self-service capabilities supporting university academic, administrative, and operational needs.
• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, data models, integrations, catalogs, workspaces, portals, and user experiences using native tools such as App Engine Studio, ServiceNow Studio, JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI Builder, Next Experience, IntegrationHub, and related platform technologies.
• Engineer and support backend integrations using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), Integration Hub, import sets, transform maps, webhooks, and MID Servers to connect ServiceNow with other core enterprise university and vendor systems.
• Develop and maintain the platform's foundational data layer, implementing and maintaining accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) structures, configuration items (CIs), and asset relationships in strict alignment with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a related field in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certified System Administrator (CSA), relevant Certified Implementation Specialist credential, or IT
