ServiceNow Developer

About the role

The organization provides the technologies and services that training providers need to engage the workforce, deliver learning, and make business decisions. Responsibilities

• Provide O&M to their current ServiceNow applications/instance
• Develop future applications through ServiceNow based on needs or requirements of groups the client supports
• Create and modify Workflows, Catalog items (if used), and Record Producers
• Develop notifications and daily reports
• Create Business Rules, UI Polices, Client Scripts, and ACLs based on the needs of the client (JavaScript is the computer language)
• Familiarity with MySQL
• Familiarity with PHP Scripting
• Demonstrated experience developing in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated experience tracking issues in JIRA
• Familiarity with systems installation and configuration support for Windows servers
• Familiarity with developing web application programming interfaces (API)
• Familiarity with incorporating Infosec policies into requirements documentation

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ServiceNow, managing workflow processes
• Familiarity with relational database programming such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or other RDBMS
• Demonstrated knowledge of technical systems, security procedures and processes
• Demonstrated experience providing briefings and briefing support on technical status of projects to office-level and group-level management
• Demonstrated experience as a strong communicator with the ability to speak to technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience using excellent interpersonal and team building skills to enhance partnerships with diverse customer base, contractors, service delivery partners, or other stakeholders
• Familiarity with either Linux or Windows operating environments
• Demonstrated experience with Object Oriented programming
• Demonstrated experience in the application of software project lifecycle principles including formal reviews and milestones
• Demonstrated experience with knowledge of learning enterprise technologies, applications and organizational structure
• Demonstrated experience supporting a organizational schoolhouse.

Qualifications

Candidate must work the core hours of 0900 to 1500 hours.
