Service Test Engineer

We are seeking an innovative problem solver and analytical thinker to join our Fluke Service Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Using technology tools to assist in developing test and service solutions such as CAD, 3D Printing, and various software tools.
• Working well in team or independent environments, and the ability to take on technical leadership roles as needed.
• Aid with concepts for potential projects that will significantly improve efficiency or expand calibration, adjustment and repair capabilities.
• Collaborate with Service Engineer Team Members and Management to ensure that Service Engineering initiatives and project deliverables are met.
• Aid with planning, development, and execution of the assembly, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of new and existing automation systems, test fixtures and other equipment.
• Develop and support automated and manual test procedures.
• Develop, publish and maintain service documentation for the global service community.
• Possess an understanding and commitment to the quality management system policies and procedures.
• FBS - Daily Management, Visual Management, Kaizen, PD, KPI, Advanced problem solving.
• Provide engineering support to service labs and authorized service partners globally.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
• Engineering degree in EE or ME, or 4+ years equivalent work experience.
• Programming experience in languages such as C++, C#, Java, Labview, Visual Basic, Python and METCAL preferred.
• Capability to evaluate and solve complex problems.
• Ability to multitask, contribute and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience in test equipment calibration, adjustment and repair.
• Ability to design, build and validate test fixtures.
• Knowledgeable in metrology practices such as measurement uncertainties and accuracies.
• Some travel may be required.
