Service Technician - The Alcove

About the role

The Alcove is a property managed by Greystar, a leading real estate platform providing comprehensive services in rental housing. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, The Alcove offers a variety of amenities and services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins.
• Manages inventory and maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Supports cost-cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Assists in safety and risk management by attending safety meetings and reporting incidents.
• Performs routine and periodic property inspections.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license for golf cart operation (if applicable).
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (for Certified Service Technicians).
• All state and local certifications required (for all Service Technicians).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, carry up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Rare or regular travel may be required.
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property maintenance or similar field preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $17.86 - $21.54.

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
