Service Technician – Process Equipment
About the role
If you like working with your hands, solving real problems, and being on the move, this might be your kind of role. You'll work on critical processing equipment used by leading food, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturers across the country. Over time, you'll build a specialized, in-demand skillset that few people have and companies rely on.
Responsibilities
- Work directly on industrial process equipment (pumps, valves, heat exchangers)
- Travel to customer facilities across the country
- Walk into a plant, identify issues, and get critical equipment back up and running
- Support operations where downtime isn’t an option
- Train customers and operators on proper equipment use
- Read schematics, understand systems, and troubleshoot in the field
- Work on new systems and challenges on a regular basis

Experience
- 6+ months of hands-on mechanical or service-related experience (or relevant training)
- Basic electrical troubleshooting is a plus
- Industrial or food manufacturing experience is helpful, but not required
Travel & Work Style
- Weekly travel to customer sites

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- This is a field-based role requiring weekly travel to customer facilities across the country
- Work is performed in industrial and manufacturing environments and involves hands-on equipment service and repair
- This position requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and use of tools
- The employee must be able to lift and move equipment and materials up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Work may include exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and active production environments
- Overtime, weekend work, and extended hours may be required based on travel and customer needs
